Friendly Village consists of the Friendly Temple Apartments 1 & 2 which were formed to offer quality, affordable housing for older adults.
Description of Facilities
Friendly Temple Apartments consists of two-three story buildings with elevators, and houses one hundred ten (110) units for independent living for residents and one on-site manager. The residents have access to a lobby on each floor, two patios, and secured entry doors.
Services Provided
Social Worker visits two days per week
Transportation to City Library, Grocery Shopping
Licensed Podiatrist visit every 60 days
Nurse visits monthly for blood pressure and diabetes check
Meals on Wheels daily
State provided food boxes monthly
Outings monthly to places of residents' choice
Home health aid weekly for those who qualify
Bible Study every Thursday at 5:00 p.m.

Application Process
The Friendly Temple Apartments (Buildings 1 and 2) are located at 5521 and 5545 Wells and managed by the St. Andrews Management Services, Inc. The Friendly Temple Apartments accepts applications and admits residents without regard to race, color, sex, creed, religion, national origin or handicap status. The rent which is set by HUD is based on income and is updated annually. Applicants are admitted on a first received basis, based on the date the application was received by the management company. Final admittance is based upon meeting federal eligibility requirements, completion of all required forms, and verification of all applicable data. Applications may be submitted in person or by mail. The minimum age for admittance is 62.
